Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Missouri
My brother had to file bankruptcy a few years back. He said he included the mobile home he is buying. They had a 15 year loan in which has been paid 14 yrs. He lost his job due to auto industry and health has gone down he is waiting on SSI and also has an autistic relattve living there. He received a letter giving him 14 days to pay the 4 thousand left on loan or they need to be out! Is this legal? Didn't Obama sign a lieniency for employees who lost their jobs?

I am not sure about any new laws that would affect this situation; I don't know of any. Is this legal? Yes. It would not be affected by his previous bankruptcy.
When most people buy a mobile home, they consider it a home much as a house would be. But the fact that it is mobile means that the laws governing the contract are those that govern a car. It doesn't take very many missed payments before a car is repossessed.
