Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Missouri
Under Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Missouri, under Exemptions, for "tools of the trade," couldn't a college student include his computer and college course books?

A student is not in the trade of education, the way a teacher is. Books and computers are not "tools of the trade" for a student. However, those items might be otherwise exempt. The students' bankruptcy attorney can explain this to them.
