Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Missouri
I got discharge (chapter 7) in december. What about my tax refund? Do I need to let my tax prepare person know about the bankruptcy? Don't have any assest (no property). Missouri.

It's always a good idea to let your tax preparer know your whole financial situation. Even more importantly, DON'T SPEND YOUR REFUND!!. Don't even deposit it. Part of the funds are property of your bankruptcy estate. Let your attorney or your trustee know when you have received your refund check. Expect to turn it over to the trustee. By the way, you did discuss the issue of tax refunds with your attorney before you filed---right?
