Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Missouri
i am filing for chapter 7 bankruptcy. i have student loans but am currently still in school. my loans are not due until 4/30/2011. do i report them on my bankruptcy and if so are they filed as an unsecured debt?

The attorney handling your bankruptcy will explain it to you in more detail, but the student loan debt is probably not dischargeable. The student loan is an unsecured debt, but you will probably still owe it after your bankruptcy is over.
