Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Missouri

i have a judgement against me for a credit card in missouri. Can my tax returns be taken b for the judgement ? i have an agreement with the attorneys office to make monthly payments ?

Neither the credit card company nor the attorney representing them can intercept your tax refund. Tax refunds are only intercepted and/or directly taken to satisfy support obligations (child support), past-due taxes, and possibly a few other priority debts. A credit card debt isn't a priority debt.

However, once the refund is deposited in your bank account, then it is treated just like any other source of money. A judgment entitles a creditor to take money from your bank account in order to satisfy the judgment. Naturally, there are some wrinkles in this right.
