I'm not quite sure what kind of help you need, but let me give you some basic information. It's permissible to file a bankruptcy petition "pro se" , that is, you are permitted to represent yourself, and the bankruptcy court's website has a section on FAQs and other information you might find helpful. Representing yourself is often not a good idea, and can wind up costing more than the legal help. If you are truly destitute, free or reduced cost legal assistance is available. But the requirements are pretty tight. Many bankruptcy attorneys will accept payments. The source for this is usually the funds that you would have spent on nonpriority unsecured debts that you will be writing off in bankruptcy anyway.
Preparing a bankruptcy petition is a time-consuming process. I've been doing bankruptcies for about 20 years and there is no way that I could prepare a petition in an hour or so. At the very least, I would urge you to get a free consultation with a bankruptcy attorney. And checking out the court's website might be a good place to start. I don't know which part of Missouri you are in, but just search for "Missouri bankruptcy court"--maybe put in your zip code.
