Legal Question in Business Law in Missouri

I have a brother that enterered into a construction partnership with a realitive and went sour. My brother had the business name established and they opened an account together with the Business name with both of their names on the account. All profit was to be split 50/50 and the operating money was to be left in the account for operating costs. Well, the realitive has been withdrawing money, and using the operating money for personnal things. My brother got most of the transactions the bank provided. It appears that approx. 50,000 is not accounted for. They only had a verbal agreement on how the money would be appropriated. The realitive's wife has been withdrawiing 3,000 a month for the last 6 mo out of the account, her name is not on the account. What kind of legal action should be take to recover his loss?

Your brother needs to wind down the partnership and he may have to sue the relative's wife to get the funds back. Otherwise, he might be able to have the money she withdrew from the portion of the buisness assets going to the relative. He might need to consult directly with an attorney in your area on this one. Many attorneys offer afree or low cost initial consultation.
