Legal Question in Business Law in Missouri
I have a business partner who was responsible for the administrative functions of our company. We had a large embezzlement by an employee (over $300K) and I have never pursued my partner. The embezzlement occured regularly for a period over 2 years. Despite repeated attempts to get my partner to look into the accounting issues, he refused. Finally our Accountant discovered it. Can I sue my partner (we are 2 of 3 share holders in a S Corporation in Missouri)?
