Legal Question in Business Law in Missouri
cleaning contract
I have a cleaning contract that was signed by a former employee and under a different business name, I have since purchased the distributorship, and purchased a new building which I plan to move to in a few months. The cleaning service will not release me from the contract. It was signed in 2004 and rolls each year. Can I stop the service?

Re: cleaning contract
An attorney would need to read the actual contract before giving you any specific legal advice, but it does sound like there might be a problem with the enforceability of the contract. Consult with an attorney.
