Legal Question in Business Law in Missouri
What constitutes an enforceable sale contract
I recently enetered into an agreement via email and phone to purchase a vehicle in the State of Missouri , I live in CO. I sent a deposit and made arrangements to pick up the vehicle.
The seller received a better offer and is now not going to honor our agreement and sell to the newer better offer. Do I have any legal grounds to hold this seller to our original agreement?

Re: What constitutes an enforceable sale contract
Assuming the agreement was in writing, you can probably enforce it. However, it will be very expensive to do that, probably costing more than $1,000 in legal fees if you must sue in circuit court.
If the matter involves less than $3000, then you can sue in small claims court, and there you might get a pretty good result.
