Legal Question in Business Law in Missouri
This is a liability question. If Company A merges with company B, and Company B takes over services that were provided by Company A. Who would be liability for issues that occurred while Company A was still handling those services?

Based upon the facts you described, both or either company can be found civilly liable for breach or damages. Based upon the type of entity that Company A and Company AB are, their owners, officers and employees may be individually liable.
