Some businesses write off their smaller bad debts. Check with your CPA to see if you can. However, many lawyers, myself included, will undertake collection efforts on a contingent fee basis, where we are not paid unless the client is paid. It is very difficult to hide in this era of email, facebook, cell phones, etc. Feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance.
