Legal Question in Business Law in Missouri
I recently made a loan and the guy keeps threatening to take legal action against me he has done the since day one. I hv called to make payment arrangements and he has said the same and been agressive. They also keep calling my job after I have asked them not too 3 different times. Is this illegal and can I sue??

Your posting is a bit confusing. Did you loan money or borrow money? If you loaned money, it would be odd for the borrower to call you at work to threaten a law suit, knowing he owes you. If you are the borrower, it might not be so odd. What is odd, that you say you offered to pay it back and they refused. There are multiple laws that prevent a collector from calling you at nwork, especially after you told them to stop. But, there are few if any applicable laws that prevent the creditor fro contacting the debtor.
