Legal Question in Business Law in Missouri
what rights do I have?
I and my wife own a small cleaning business. We are licensed, bonded and insured. I submitted a bill to a business that we clean for and they sent the bill back with a letter attached stating that upon inspection of the stairwell that I clean they found dead spiders, cobwebs, bugs leaves, etc. that could not have remained if cleaned properly and as often and the invoice indicates. I cleaned once a week and for only $25.00 on each clean. I have cleaned 5 times all together totaling a bill of $125.00. I have cleaned this building for about 2 months. I was not notified about anything from the past cleaning dates left uncleaned, dirty or not satisfied with the service provided. What are my options, if I have any, to have them pay the bill for the past cleaning?

Re: what rights do I have?
I would recommend that you consider filing a small claims suit if you can't work this out. Call the Circuit Court Clerk for your county and they will give you the instructions.
