Legal Question in Business Law in Missouri

I own a small catering and rental hall business. I have a website for my business... for example (www.oldtimecatering.com) with all my information on it. The gentelman I lease my reception space/ building and kitchen space from has a web site for the building/ services as well for example (www.oldetimekansascity.com) stating a lot of the same information that my website has only it contains his contact information on it. Also he just opened up a new reception hall 50 yeards away and is now taking calls for my reception place and trying to get them to book with him instead of me...

Is this legal?

A lot will depend upon what your lease agreement says. But, at the minimum it sounds like your landlord is interfering with your quiet enjoyment of the leased space. If people are mistakenly going to his web site, it seems that some others may mistakenly go to yours.

If you cannot amicably resolve this on yout own, take all you documents to a civil practice attorney in your area. Many offer a free or low cost initial consultation.

Good luck.
