The law in this area has changed over the past fiteen years. it use dto be that you had so many years after you realized that a particulare person had abused you when you were a minor. Now the time frame seems to be from when you discovered that you had been abused, even if you didn't know who did it. When you are a kid, your parent usually represents your place in a civil action. As your mother knew of the abuse when it happened, then the time for her to bring suit on your behalf, rnay have ended long ago. The time for you to sue her, may have passed, as well as to sue her coconspirators.

You and your sister should consult directly with an attorney in your area, to see how the particular facts of your case effect the limitations to see if there are still any claims you can make.

As you are 27, the time in which a prosecutor could have brought criminal charges agaisnt yoru mother or the men, have probably passed.

Good luck
