Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Missouri
I was arrested and charged, in Missouri, with class c felony fraud I believe in 2006. I was given 3 yrs SIS which I completed and was released after 1 1/2 years, and told after that it just goes away. I have not had any trouble since. I recently applied to purchase a firearm, in the state of Washington where I now reside and was told I could not because I was arrested for the felony. Is it possible to have this expunged and is it possible to do myself or do I need an attorney?

It appears that you may be able to get this conviction expunged. If you aren't familiar with the process, you'll likely do much better having legal representation. Missouri allows you to hire an attorney to prepare your Pro Se documents, so you might save some money that way. Many criminal defense attorneys offer a free or low cost initial consultation.
