Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Missouri
Right to Bear Arms and Felony convictions
Is it true that someone who has been convicted of a felony in the state of Missouri is not allowed to own or have a gun either on his person or in the home in which he lives? Does that include all types of firearms including pistols and hunting rifles? 22 caliber rifles etc.?
If not, then that would mean that a convicted felon who has served his sentence would not be allowed to pursue a hunting hobby. Is this correct?
