Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Missouri

Freedom of Information

Hello,

I am hoping someone can help me. My son was killed in a car accident. The coroner refused to let me see my son the

morning he died,

My problem is: The coroner took pictures of him and i want to see

those pictures and he has not let me see them. I know that alot of

parents don't want to see their children like that, that should be

their choice. I should have a choice also. I feel as though my rights were violated the day he died and if I

had been in thinking condition I would have never left there without

seeing my son. . I know in

several other states they have online information as to where to go

to get all the reports and pictures from the coroner due to the

Freedom Of Information Act and The Sunshine Law.

Thank you very much for your time.

Re: Freedom of Information

Montanta may not have a FOIA statute, but you might get a lot further if you ask the mayor of your town, or administrator of your county to intercede for you.
