Do I need the full name of the person that I am going to subpoena, if I have the address?

There is legal and a practical interpretation to your question. It may be served given the nickname you have. ( i.e. "Bobby" instead of "Robert") If Robert fails to show, the fact that the subpeona says Bobby may not be a valid defense to a citation for contempt. But, if the subpeona does not have information sufficien to individually identify a person, there may be no mechanism for the court to punish whoever is served. There may not be sifficent information to get a deputy or process server to attest that they served the person. If you only have an address, that may not be specific enough to identify anyone.
