Materal things
When some one moves out and leaves a motor picker behind and was called 3 to 4 times to come get it, is it illgal to sell it?

It depends. You'll have to check local laws on abandoned property. It also depends upon whether the property is left on your property, whether it was left there with the belief that you would keep it safe, or that it was lent to you. Even if you sell it, you might have to give the money to the owner of the property.
