Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Missouri

My private high school recently posted a picture in a magazine of myself, advertising the school I attend and explaining what the school is about. When I first started, I filled out paperwork with the school and they asked if they could use my picture and/or name for advertising or anything amongst those lines and I strictly marked no. The school not only didn't ask me before they posted the picture, but I said no on paper that they couldn't. I was just wondering if I had a legitimate case on my hands and if I could sue.

Your parents or guadian appear to have a claim against the school, under the facts you described. There are limitations on what is recompensable, but they can probably at least get the use of the picture stopped.

Good luck
