can I sue a hotel for giving out my name
I want to know if I can sue hotel for giving out my name to the police for no reason at all. A officer came in behide me and I got my room and he ask for some body else from there he must ask the front desk person or she gave out my name to the officer.10 mintue later knocking at my door and took me to jail

You did not state the cirumstances why the hotel personnel gave your name.Perhaps, the said personnel was only acting on the basis of the legal representation of the police and that he/she might have been threatened with obstruction of justice.
