do i legallyhave to show proof of insurance on my own personal car to drive a company truck that has insurance provided by the company

Your employer may require you to demonstrate that you are insurable in order to qualify for the company's insurance. If you were driving a vehicle uninsured you would be violating the law and that violation of the law might make you uninsurable in the eyes of the company providing the insurance for your company.
