Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Missouri

I currently have a workmans comp suit going on with my employer and was informed I couldn't sue for pain and suffering or anything! Of course I am still going through the sysytem since my accident in 12/18/08 and was cut off on pay or benefits in 8/26/09 because of what their doctor said, which of course other injuries have been found. The injury was no ordinary slip and fall, I was ordered to the rooftop to check for a part number for my rest. heater because the owner did not want to pay the money to have someone else to, so of course I had to. Needless to say I fell off the roof {approx 10 ft} leading to severe brain surgery and neck and many spinal problems. My life is nothing like it was and I believe the franchisee is getting off scott- free. Why coudn't I sue for exploitation or some sort of discrimation by the franchisee using me as a heating and cooling expert. I t is simply not right by any means for these people to be able to just get along by and I now must resort my life and possibly be disabled to work at the age of 31.

Why couldn't my wife sue them for having to go through all this with the extra jobs and all the stress of not recieving any pay and our family of five must suffer because we have no money. It all goes to of course utilities and medications that I've never had to take since the injury. The outstanding bills for these other doctors ae just going to collection to affect our future as well!!

There has got to be something else besides workmans comp. They have done nothing for me because I still am paying for physical therapy myself as well as other treatments from pain centers as well as the previous mentioned thngs.

You need to meet with a work comp attorney in your area ASAP. If you are relying on what the employer's doctor is saying, you are likely being short changed. If your case has been going in for almost two years, then the employers work comp insurer should be paying the doctor's bills. You wife may be able to get compensaion too. If you need a referral to an attorney you may contact me, and I can give you a few. If you have an attorney , than ask whey yrou medical bills are not being paid.

Good luck
