Legal Question in Consumer Law in Missouri
If someone advertises a diamond ring for $1.00 on craigslist and doesn't mention any other pricing details in the ad, do they have to honor that price?

Perhaps. But, if one were to sue someone for refusing to sell them a diamond ring for a $1, the Court might hold the Plaintiff to a very strict proof standard. Is it a precious stone or a plastic ring on nbc the shape of a diamond? For $1, which sounds more likely? If the purchaser can prove which specific ring was advertised, they must get do better at trial.
