How do I cancel a contract with a weight loss company
I joined a weight loss program on 3/29/03 and paid for the
complete program upfront over $500.00, now I'm not happy with the program and want to cancel and have credit issued
back to my credit card minus the 3 weeks. I've tried to speak with someone at the program and get no were.

Re: How do I cancel a contract with a weight loss company
Call the company and get the fax number to the main office. Then fax a letter to the office telling them you are cancelling effective immediately and want a complete refund of the unused portion of the program effective immediately.
Then notify your credit card company in writing of the amount of the credit you claim and your intent to dispute any bill received for any amount in excess of the time paid for to date.
If that doesn't work, inform the weight loss company that charging for the full program up front is a violation of section 407.020 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri and subjects them to suit in Missouri.
Good luck.
