Legal Question in Consumer Law in Missouri
Car Manufacturer/Dealer and Lemon
I bought a brand new Chevrolet Malibu in Feb. 2002. I've experienced serious, unrelated, ongoing problems. The selling dealer finally refused to work on the car! I took it to another dealer. Example: The engine had to be bored .030 over because of ''piston slap''.
The brake rotors have had to be replaced twice. I believe there is a bearing problem and a CV joint problem that have gone undiagnosed or mis-diagnosed or ignored.
At one point , a customer service rep for GM said they would give me an extended warranty. Now they are saying''no''. I have 40, 000 mi on car. Are there attys who are specialists in this stuff? IS it too late to use the lemaon law?

Re: Car Manufacturer/Dealer and Lemon
Yes, there are several who specialize in the lemon law. There is an attorney in Kansas City who does this kind of work. I don't have the Lawyers Weekly handy, but I believe this attorney advertises. You might check the Kansas City phone book.
