Legal Question in Consumer Law in Missouri
I have a client that is being garnished 39% of her pay on a bi-weekly basis in St. Louis Missouri. Is this legal? What is the process of reducing the garnished amount?

If she can honestly report that she is head of household, then the amount to be garnsihed would likely go down to 10%. Each county has a form to be filled out by the debtor. If the employer is making a mistake by taking out too much, then she should take it up with them.
Good luck
