We hired a reputable roofing company who did not disclose they would use subcontractors. There was damage to our home and the roof leaks. Was the company required to disclose this when asked?

Most roofing companies are Incorporated. Corporations act through their agents. Unless they told you which agent(s) would be onsite, their appears to be no requirement that they name the agents. The corroding cannot use their agent as a scapegoat TTY avoid liability for inferior workmanship or materials.
