Legal Question in Consumer Law in Missouri
Am I legally obligated to purchase a used vehicle
I went and looked at a used truck at someones home and test drove it and made him an offer which he accepted.
No money was exchanged and nothing was written down because the seller could not locate the title to the vehicle.
We both stated we would conclude the deal once the title was found or a new one issued from the DMV.
I had second thoughts about the purchase the next day.
Am I still legally obligated to purchase the vehicle?

Tell the seller that you have changed your mind BEFORE he presents the title, and you shoudl be free from liability. If there are facts that you did not share, then the answer may change.
Good Luck
