Legal Question in Consumer Law in Missouri
I live in MO bought a car 4-5 years ago, never paid sales tax or licensed it, only made 3-4 payments. Its been charged off on my credit but I'm still in possession of it and I assume they've stopped trying to repo since is been sitting in my driveway unmoved for 2 years. I don't want to put money into it(sales tax and licensing) if they can still come take it. Is their a legal maneuver to protect myself so I can let my daughter use it?

You might try a quiet title action. But, they probably still have a few years n which to repo and sue you for the deficiency. You should consult directly with a civil practice attorney in your area. Take all the relevant documents with you.
Good luck
