Legal Question in Consumer Law in Missouri
I recently attempted to buy a flute from a local private seller. I sent him $2000.00 in a money order which he has cashed but he has not sent flute and I'm getting the feeling he won't. He mentioned a divorce pending but what can I do to either get my money or the flute. This is in Missouri.

Obviously, you now know it was foolish to send money without having the glue in your hand. It sounds like you sill need to file a police report for the theft by fraud, and due him in civil Court.
Good luck
