Legal Question in Consumer Law in Missouri
Sold our car& it broke down on the people
We sold our car which we had just bought at a dealership four months ago last week. We needed a more affordable car because we were having job issues. We didn't know anything was wrong with the car and sold it ''as is''. Apparently the car broke down on the people that night and now they want their money back. Can they do that?

They can ask. You can say no. The only ground to set aside the sale would be fraud, and it would only be fraud if you knew the car was bad when you sold it. If you didn't know, there's no fraud.
