Writing two different amounts on a check
If you write one amount in the numeral box and a different amount on the dollar amount line is this a legal check that can be cashed or used for payment?

Generally the amount written in script supercedes the incorrect numerals. As long as everything else is correct, it mayh be passed as a negotiable instrument
