Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Missouri

Accessing Credit Report W/O Authorization From Said Individual

My question is: What is the law in the state of Missouri regarding a business, i.e., insurance company(s) accessing joint/individual credit reports without knowledge or authorization of said individuals and with no apparent, valid reason for credit check, other than curiousity.

I don't know Missouri law, but I do know that Federal law prohibits what they did. What proof do you have that they did it? Under federal law, you could (and probably should) cook their butts and fry them up good. You don't have to prove any damages to win an award against them.

Pardon the legal jargon.
