Re: bad checks

There are statutes of limitation for both criminal and civil cases. The statute is determined by the type of offense in a criminal case, and by the type of claim in a civil case. Often it is not easy to find the answer in a book. Your best bet is to contact an attorney, describe your situation, and get an answer specific to your situation.
