Can a collector leave in a voicemail
detailed info about a debt like the exact amount of debt
and company that i owe
and on top of that not knw if i am the owner of the phone number they called???
is there a law suite at hand? or a slap on the wrist for the worker?

There are limitations on what a debt collector can do. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other federal and state regualtions curtail certian activity. Among the restrictions are speaking with persons other than the debtor about the debt. Voicemail messages are a very fact-specific isse. The level of detail to determine whether you have claim for a violation under one of the consumer protection laws is too complicated for a general free question format.
