I want the car out of my name. I am the co-signer. The other person on the loan is not able to refinance out of my name. What are my options

Re: Co-Signer on Car
If the other borrower is not unpside down (owes more than car is worth) your could sell the vehicle and pay off the lienholder. You masy also inform the lender that you no longer agree to the debt and take the car to them or give them permission to pick up the vehicle. You will be lieble for eh difference betwen what they can resell it for and what is still owed. You may also owe for some other expenses, but would save the repo fee.
You may also be able to get better refinancing rates in your other name, without the person you cosigned for. That could save you some money.
Good Luck

You don't really have any good options. You co-signed, and the lender can require you to perform on your promise. If the other person can't get a loan, you're probably stuck.
