CREDIT CARD DEBT... I want to assume responsibilty for the debt

I am an authorized user on my mom's credit cards... I would like assume responsilbility for the debt... Is there something legal I can do to get her out from under the debt I have created in her name?

Your best bet is to get a loan and pay off the card. The credit card company is not required to let you assume her debt. They may want her name on the card so that they can ultimately collect from her if you don't pay. So your best bet, to fully resolve this, is to go get a loan and pay off the card.
