Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Missouri

credit card debt

I am being sued by Bank One for a credit card I never had. The last time I had any credit cards it was ten years ago and they were store cards. I stopped using thim ten years ago when my husband died. I was in court last Monday and I told the judge that i can't have a credit card debt because I never had a credit card, he gave me another court date and said I needed to hire a lawyer. I live only on Social Security and I will get $12,360 this year. What do I do?

Thank You,

Re: credit card debt

Obviously you have a defense. What Court were you in last week? If it was in my area, I would be willing to represent you for a greatly reduced fee due to your financial situation, and I am confident that I can make this case go away if everything you say is true. Please feel free to call me at the office.
