credit card debt
I'm 65 years old and retired. If I don't pay my credit card debt what can my creditors do to me?

Re: credit card debt
1. Ruin your credit.
2. Sue you for a money judgment
3. Depending on whether your retirement is funded by the state or federal government, or some private entity, they may be able to garnish those checks.
4. They can garnish your bank account.
5. They can seize personal property in your name and sell it at auction (trailers, boats, cars, etc.)
6. They can place a lien on your real estate.
In short, it's better to pay your bills.
