if debt collector files on June 1 statute runs out June 26 case doesn't get hear until Aug. 8 has the statute run out?

The statute was tolled when the suit was filed so long as the creditors attorney follows up with service of process and prosecuting the suit. Why don't you hire an attorney to represent you? In many cases the attorney can save you more money than he or she costs you.
