If the settlemtn company accepted servcie fo proces sin the case by teh credit card company, and they did not tell you about it, you have case against them under several theories. If they promised to keep yrou wages form being garnished, you may also have case agsint them for breach of that promise. If the settlement company was supposed to be sending some of your money to this creditor and they forgot or failed to, you may have a suit based upon the cost to you of their mistake.

But, if one of the creditors decided you weren't or couldn't pay enough money to satisfy them and the settlement company did not promise to prevent law suits, you may have no viable civil suit against the settlment company.

If the credit card company did not file suit against you, and did not take judmgent against you, then you have grounds to have the court quash the garnishment.

If you feel that the settlemtn company did nto act in good faith wioth you, perhaps you should register a complaint with the Attorney General's office.

Good luck
