Can a collector continue to call you ay work after you have ask him not to.

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act prohibits contact, but requires you to notify the collector in writing. Send a certified letter or a fax to the collector and they MUST stop contacting you. You can tell them not to call you at all, and they must adhere to your request. Go to FTC.GOV for more information on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
