delinquent credit card account

ex-wife opened--name removed--credit card account using my information without my consent. Now I am being taken to court. How can I find out the information on this account? Am I responsible for this debt? What are my options

In my opinion, you should hire an attorney who will defend you in this lawsuit. We have legal techniques to compel the creditor's attorney to provide all of the documentation, which should prove that you never signed any credit card application, and never used the credit card. If they will not agree to drop the case against you, your attorney might win a dismissal on a Summary Judgment or through a trial. Good luck.
