can disability social security or long term disability be garnished

my husband and i are both disabled and drawing social security disability. i also get a small amount of long term disability from my former employer.we cannot meat our debts. can our benifits be garinshed?should we try to come up with the money for bankruptcy?thanks

No. In Missouri your benefits are exempt from garnishment.
