There are forms for making a motion to quash an execution or to declare a bank account as exempt. The guidelines for such an exemption are tight. There is the head of household declaration for wage garnishments, but not really one for bank accounts. If the sole source of the funds in the account are from disability or specific retirement accounts, then the entire account may be exempt. Unfortunately, poverty and inconvenience of losing the funds are not usually grounds for preventing a levy and execution. Chekc with teh county court through which the levy/execution came. They may have a fill-in-the-blanks form you can use.

Good luck
