The man who calls us about our smoke alarms.Yells and shouts profanities at me.Tells me I am a lazy bum .To get a ---- life ,and make my ---- payments . Tell's me to shut the ---- up when I am trying to make a payment arraingment.What can we do about this man .

If he is a collector, he is governed by the rules of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. If he is not, but is a creditor, the Act does not apply. Still, he cannot harass you by telephone. You may want to make a police report of telephone harassment.
