Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Missouri
A financial institution is trying to charge me with criminal misuse of information and bank wire fraud. I believe it is from unpaid credit cards. I live in Missouri. What are the consequences for these charges if they hold up in court? And what happens if I just don't go to the court date?

If you are charged with a crime, and don't appear for Court, a warrant will be issued for your arrest. If you are facing a civil suit where the financial institution is sueing you, and you don't appear for Court, a default Judgment for whatever they want will be entered against you. Either way, you need to hire an attorney! I may be able to help you myself. Feel free to contact me for a telephone consultation at no cost.
